Hayes Signs For Westfields

Former Hereford player George Hayes has signed for Westfields in time for the start of their Midland Football League campaign on Saturday.

Hayes was released from Edgar Street earlier this summer after coming through the United in the Community youth set up.

He made three appearances for the first team, but said joining 'Fields is a good opportunity to help him improve.

"Pleased to have signed with Westfields as it's somewhere I can develop as a player," Hayes told Westfields' Twitter.

"Now looking forward to an exciting season ahead."

Westfields kick off their Midland League campaign at South Normanton this Saturday.
