Next up for Hereford FC is an away game at Banbury on Tuesday evening.
Yesterday Hereford defeated Dorchester 4-1 whilst Banbury lost 3-1 at Basingstoke.
Hereford manager Peter Beadle was pleased with his side's second half performance after Dorchester had taken the lead when Jimmy Oates headed into his own net.
Banbury manager Mike Ford wasn't so happy. His side were drawing 1-1 until the 76th minute but two late goals sealed the result for the home side.
"It's out of the frying pan and into the fire on Tuesday night," Ford told Puritan Radio.
"We've got the biggest club in our division by a mile at home. We'll need some characters to match them.
"You can not feel sorry for ourselves, if you feel sorry for yourself we may as well stay at home and give Hereford the points.
"In some ways it's difficult game to get back on track but in some ways it's dead easy.
"We've got nothing to lose, let's have a crack at it."
