Hereford FC defender Ryan Green remains one of the youngest players to put on a Welsh shirt.

Last night Ben Woodburn, who scored the only goal of the game against Austria, joined the elite group of six who have represented Wales before their eighteen birthday.

The group consist of Ben Woodhouse, Ryan Giggs, Lewis Nyatanga, Gareth Bale, Harry Wilson and Ryan Green.

Green held the record as the youngest player from June 1998 when he was capped against Malta until 2006 when Nyatanga received his first cap.

Before Green, Giggs held the record.
