Placing Hereford FC in the Midland Premier League has given a welcome boost to gates.
With just five away and one homes games to go, gates at club which Hereford have visited have risen by up to 200%.
Although clubs hosting games against Hereford will have some extra expenses, the income from ticket sales, food, match programmes etc would be far greater.
The receipts at Alvechurch last Thursday were probably as high as the rest of their home games this season put together
