Former Hereford United winger Sam Clucas is featured in an article in today's NLP in which he mentions he's pleased to see the new club doing so well.

Now highly regarded at Hull, six years ago he was playing in the Lincolnshire Senior League.
He worked at a Debenham's cafe to earn enough money to feed his football habit.
"I think playing in the Lincolnshire League gave me a grounding," Clucas told the NLP.
"If you have life put on a plate for you early on, you're getting big money and nice things.
"Then you take your foot off the gas and think you've made it.
"I was 18 learning and loving my football. I had to drive to games and you wouldn't even ask about expenses.
"But that's a part of my journey. I've come a long way and I'm proud of that."
Just before he turned 20, Glen Hoddle watched him and took him to Spain. A year later he signed for Hereford United.
That season Hereford were relegated and the article suggests Clucas was 'the fall guy who was hounded on social media'.
"I received messages on twitter from some Hereford fans saying I was the worst player to play for that club and I should quit.
"Eighteen months later I won their player of the season and they're asking me not to leave.
"Football changes really quickly but I'm pleased the new club has started so well."
