Hereford FC's winning sequence has been noted in today's Guardian

STAT OF THE DAY

Hereford FC, created earlier this year from the ashes of Hereford United, lost three and drew one of their first six games of the season. Since then they have won 16 on the spin (their last 11 by an aggregate score of 40-1). 

Rocester, beaten 4-0 in the Midland Premier League on Saturday and 2-0 in the FA Vase last weekend, are their last two victims, but having now played them home, away and in a cup they can at least look forward to a Hereford-free future.
