He will report directly to the Chairman Nick Vaughan.
On his appointment Vaughan said: "We are aiming to create a best practice model of football education for both our coaches and players.

This appointment comes ahead of the UTIC parent's evening taking place on Monday at Edgar Street.
Current estimates suggest the Academy will have in excess of 80 players signed on for 2015/16. This is in addition to the two under 18s squads.
