Former Hereford United youngster Cory Williams is on trial with FC United of Manchester and could feature for them in tomorrow's friendly at Edgar Street.
Williams is one of six trialists named by FCUM this morning.
The new recruits, who have not yet signed for the club, are as follows:
- Steven Boothman, midfielder, has Football League experience with Wigan Athletic and has more recently been at Southport.
- Sean Cooke, former Telford and Fylde winger. A Manchester United supporter who has played against FC United before and now wants to play for the Red Army.
- Cameron Murray, midfielder, came through the youth ranks at Bradford City and has plied his trade at York City and Scarborough Athletic.
- Adam Thurston, is a former Manchester United trainee defender, who has played at Preston North End and Hyde.
- Greg Wilkinson, former Stockport, Altrincham and Stalybridge Celtic midfielder.
- Cory Williams, forward, who has previously played for Hereford United and Chester.
Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle has said he would like Williams back at Edgar Street but admitted that it might be difficult to make it happen.
Meanwhile Williams has tweeted: 'It's gonna be a unreal day tomorrow, Butterflies kicking in already.'
