My client is seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager for a fantastic position within Herefords largest football club. This is a highly desirable and appealing organisation with a desire to provide the best possible services to its clients and supporters. This exciting new opportunity will see you responsible for the management and marketing of the club's hospitality suites. You will also be a key member of the club's commercial team.
Role Summary:
As a dynamic Hospitality Manager you will be responsible for the successful running of events (match and non match related) and facilitating the delivery of all food and beverage services to an exceptional standard. The role will be in control of managing staff and liaising with the commercial team to deliver events, ensuring there is continual development of the business and improvement of service standards.
Job Purpose:
- Apply maximum effort and energy in the manner required by football club to meet the detailed budgetary targets for hospitality commercial income.
- To meet all supporter / customer / sponsor expectations, delivering the highest grade of customer service possible.
- To meet and achieve the expectations of the Commercial Manager to meet customer service standards and the clubs strategic and business objectives.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Deliver the budgeted bar/hospitality commercial income as set out
- Communicate and enthuse other members of the team to drive towards the teams' goals and targets.
- Manage all marketing off all hospitality areas to the required standards as outlined by the Board of directors
- Work with the Board, Commercial Director, Commercial Manager and staff on all levels to deliver budgetary and customer service standards as set out and agreed.
- Help colleagues and customers with complaints and any other customer service issues. Good Customer Service is vitally important.
- At all times represent the club in such a way as to project an image of quality and integrity, provide the best possible level of customer service.
- Ensure that all necessary administrative tasks are carried out in full and within the time required. This includes communicating all relevant information by whatever means may be necessary.
- Meeting budgetary targets for hospitality and wet sales as set out in the budget.
- Maximising all hospitality areas to the maximum, with detailed record of activity and prospects.
- Manage an electronic diary of all hospitality bookings for internal and external customer events to the required standard as set out by the Commercial manager.
- Managing the marketing and promotion of all hospitality areas to generate maximum income.
- The level of customer service is delivered on match day and to all outside bookings as set out by the board of Directors.
- Advising and implementing all PR activity to the wider community.
- Recruitment and management of all staff required to deliver the customer service levels required by the board of directors.
- Responsible for all stock management.
- Responsible for cellar management and quality of all beers, wines and spirits delivered to the customer is of the highest quality.
