Swindon's winding-up petition will go to a fourth hearing after the club disputed liability for the debt owed to the solicitor that fought the ownership battle on Lee Power's behalf. Power is reported to have paid £14,000 of the original bill but £54,000 is still owed with the plaintiff claiming the debt is the club's responsibility. However a club Director claims both the liability and the size of the debt are in dispute.
Kidderminster manager Gary Whild was reportedly talked out of quitting the club, after Saturday's home loss to Eastleigh, by BBC H&W commentator Steve Miller. The Harriers have appointed former Stourport manager Rod Brown as their new Vice Chairman. Brown, who had Whild as his assistant 15 years ago, will use his business experience and football knowledge to help to put the club on an even keel.
Former Bull Dan Preston hopes to play again this season despite missing the last two months with a fractured skull. The 23 year old former loanee picked up the injury in January playing for Tamworth against Leamington, but hopes a scan this week will give him the clearance to begin light training.
Nathan Elder is expected to complete a loan move to Tonbridge Angels for the remainder of the season. The Dover man is mulling over the move with his wife currently pregnant.
