Goalkeeper David Cornell, who had a loan spell with Hereford United, is to join Portsmouth on a one month loan deal from parent club Swansea City.
He is expected to get some game time given regular stopper Michael Poke is injured.
"We needed to bring in a keeper because Michael has been suffering with
back spasms and we're grateful to Swansea for lending us David," said Pompey
manager Andy Awford.
Signed as cover for Adam Bartlett, Cornell made 27 appreances for the Bulls during the 2011/12 season.
