Former Bulls midfielder Jamie Edge has finally signed for Weston-Super-Mare.
The 21 year old has joined ahead of today's Conf South match at Concord Rangers having started the season with Cirencester. He was due to move earlier in the month but finally completed the move on Friday with Cirencester assistant Jody Bevan telling the Western Daily Press:
"Jamie is a good footballer with an excellent education in the game. He needs a break and to be settled and to play a run of games. Having Arsenal on his CV is something which can weigh heavy and people sometimes expect too much. He has joined a good club in Weston and I think it is a move which can benefit both parties."
Edge added: "Weston are a young exciting side. They play good football and I can't wait to get started."
Meanwhile former Bulls defender Stuart Watkiss has left Grimsby Town's youth structure to move to the Indian I-League. The former Wolves man is reported to be set to manage a team based in Pune, telling Grimsby's official site:
“The chance to go to India and set a club up from scratch – It's a great project and one I’m looking forward to being involved with.”
