Hereford United manager Jon Taylor has spoken to the Western Daily Press about recent signing Jay Knight who came on as a substitute at Banbury on Tuesday evening.
"He's had a few pro clubs over the years, although he hasn't been at an academy.
"What I liked about him at Banbury was that as soon as he laid the ball off, he got in the box – if you get bodies in the box then you are going to score goals."
With Taylor missing several players, Knight is expected to feature at some stage this afternoon in the FA Trophy tie at Totton..
Meanwhile Taylor has admitted he does know much about the opposition.
“I don’t know a lot about Totton" Taylor told the Worcester News.
“I’ll speak to a couple of managers in the division below to see if we can find out at least how they set up.
“But today we have to worry about how we are going to play, rather than what they are going to do.”
