Taylor Pleased With Point At Bideford

Jon Taylor Thanking Supporters After Saturday's Game
Hereford United manager Jon Taylor has said that he was pleased to take a point from Bideford on Saturday.

"At 3-1 we had our backs against the wall and I thought the game was over," Taylor told the Western Daily Press.

"But we dug in deep and the last 25 minutes were very positive. In the end, I thought we might even have snatched it.

"Overall, a draw was a fair result. Bideford were a danger and the big men they had up front were a threat."

Taylor wasn't happy with some players.

"It's a learning curve for some of these players this season.

"But it's cemented in my mind that there were a couple in the starting line-up who are nowhere near worth a place in the side.

"When it comes to men's football, being aggressive, doing the right things in the right areas and doing the basic things well, a couple of them are nowhere near."
