News Round-Up

Bristol Rovers have applied to the local council to extend delivery times for the proposed new store on their current Memorial Ground home. The current planning permission sees Sainsburys only allowed deliveries for 17 hours a day six days a week, and 11 hours on Sundays but a new application wants to increase to 19 hours a day every day, with local residents in opposition to the move. Sainsburys have indicated that they will pull out of the project if the new hours are not agreed, with the club having launched legal action against the supermarket over the inaction over the site.

Marley Watkins scored for Inverness during their 1-1 draw with Ross County, with Yoann Arquin netting for the SPL's bottom club. ICT are now third in the division, three points behind leaders Hamilton after they beat Celtic 1-0 at Celtic Park. Southport have named Gary Brabin as their new manager in succession to Martin Foyle. He will be joined by assistant Paul Carden with the pair taking training this morning.
