For any Hereford United supporters who have not been to Aggborough before, but are wishing to peacefully protest on Wednesday, here is some information on the home of Kidderminster Harriers.
Bulls fans will be accommodated in the South Terrace, which has a capacity of 1500. It is not yet known whether any seats will be made available for those from Hereford. Facilities at Aggborough are adequate, with the usual football ground grub up for grabs, including exceptionally good homemade Cottage Pies available.
Admission is advertised on Harriers' official site as being £14 for adults, over 60s, 16-18 and students (16-22) £8, u16s £5 and under 5s free of charge. However, please be advised that 16-18 and students require proof of age, and under 5s tickets must be collected from the office.
For some food before the game, Captain Cod's Fish and Chips, opposite the Severn Valley Railway Station near the top of the hill, and a little further down the hill you can find Our Plaice which has recently won plenty of local awards. KFC can also be found close-by. For a quick snack there's a Tesco Express opposite the entrance to Hoo Road, which also has a cashpoint.
For a pre-match pint, The Railway Bell, next door to Captain Cod's, is a good choice, or if you're a real ale connoisseur then be sure to drop in at the King and Castle, which is on the forecourt of the Severn Valley Railway Station, and the Weavers Real Ale House opposite Tesco Express serves only ales and ciders. If you take a stroll down into town the first pub you'll come to is the Boars Head, which also serves plenty of different ales, and The Swan, which is a further walk into the centre of town, is also worth a visit. Thanks to 'Maton' off the Bulls Banter forum for the suggestions.
CAR - Leave Hereford travelling north on the A49 towards Leominster. At Woofferton (Salway Arms), turn right onto the A456 (sign Tenbury). Continue through Tenbury Wells following signs for Kidderminster. Stay on the A456 taking care to bear left at the pub in Newnham. Pass through Clows Top and follow the road around Bewdley and passed the Safari Park. Enter Kidderminster via Bewdley Hill and join the inner Ring Road (clockwise). Follow the ring road until you pass the turning for Comberton Road then look for signs for Aggborough (Hoo Road), which will be to your left.
PARKING - Available at both ends of the ground, as well the Severn Valley Railway (pay and display), but it is worth noting that the car park behind the home end is free on match days, whereas at the away end you will be charged £5 for the privilege.
TRAIN - Travelling by train from Hereford is not an option as there are no return trains once the game has finished.
COACH - £11 including £1 to cover Paypal fees. The coach will depart the Merton Meadow car park at 5.30pm and then Leominster Bus Station at 6.00pm. HUST would like to thank Steve Field for arranging the coach booking. Places on the coach can be booked on HUST's website here - http://www.hufctrust.co.uk/shop/product-category/coach-travel-kidderminster/
