Rushden's former Nene Park home is set to be bulldozed to make way for a retail and leisure complex. The stadium, built in 1992, has been empty for two years since Kettering departed following a brief stay. The site will retain a community football pitch, but will mostly be retail until and restaurants in the proposed development. The new Rushden side currently play at the Dog and Duck, Wellingborough Town's home ground.
Former Bull Glen Southam has left Chelmsford for Sutton United for an undisclosed fee after he expressed a wish to return to full time football. The 34 year old only joined the Clarets in the summer. Dorchester are looking for reinforcements after attacking midfielders Nick Crittenden and Ben Joyce were both ruled out for a month with injuries.
