A combination of injuries and recent indifferent performances isn't helping the financial situation at Edgar Street.
The club is currently living from hand to mouth and the money from the forthcoming FA tribunals can't come soon enough.
Last night's gate of 1851 was reasonable given the wet weather but it should be remembered that there was a special offer for young supporters and so takings will not quite reflect the gate.
Meanwhile HUISA chairman Keith Dodd has spoken about how the association has helped the club pay for the loan deal which has brought striker Richard Brodie to Edgar Street. The Darlington player has been drafted in for a month to bolster the squad particularily with the injury to Michael Rankine.
"We received a phone call (on Thursday night) to say we had a few injuries and we needed a striker to take on loan," Dodd told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Would a little bit of a donation be available? We said yes.
"It's part of our continuing support of the club."
Asked how much the club wanted, Dodd wouldn't say.
"The club knows we contribute money to them and this was a thing we wanted to do.
"It's all they need at the moment, I think.
"I don't know how much the loan deal is, we were asked if we could contribute a figure and we did as part of our on-going contributions."
