Former Bull Joe Heath has today been announced as a signing
for Conference National newcomers Chester FC.
Heath joins The Blues on an initial one-year contract.
The left sided
defender arrived at Edgar Street originally on loan from Exeter City in
November 2010 and signed a two-year deal at the beginning of 2011/12 following
the assessment of then manager Jamie Pitman and his team of master tacticians.
Heath
totted up just short of 40 appearances in a period that was blighted by
injuries and, some would say, inconsistency.
His Hereford contract was one of
the "hangover" League types so his signing by Jester will relieve The Bulls of paying
the extra month severance salary with the part-time Exacta Stadium outfit claiming to
have "had the player on their list since the beginning of the recruitment process".
Meanwhile former Bulls pair Moses Ashikodi and Lewis Feeley were trialling in Dagenham's game with Dover today. Former loanee Ashikodi and ex-youth teamer Feeley were both second half subs for the Daggers.
