Rob Purdie, who has just started his third spell at Edgar Street which will include a coaching role, is full of praise for manager Martin Foyle in today's Non League Paper.
"He's thinker," said Purdie.
"He's going to let me in totally to the managerial side of things.
"He won't keep me at arms length, he'll throw me in.
"For a manager to train me up like that, because he knows he can trust me and I can trust him, is perfect.
"I'm hoping we might surprise a few people.
"With the off-field problems people might think 'they won't challenge' but we want to do as well as we can.".
