Bulls News is pleased to announce that the figure raised for Macmillan Cancer Support from the proceeds of running a car park at Hay Festival was £43,160.
The money will go to supporting Macmillan work in Herefordshire and South Powys.
The festival was blessed with reasonable weather this year and so the car park was able to open every day of the eleven day event.
The other official car park at the festival raised a substantial amount of funds for Hay St Mary's football club.
Hereford United supporters were involved in running both car parks.
