Bulls News will once again be organising and running their own official car park at the Hay Literary Festival, in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. For the past seven years, a small group of young Hereford United supporters (and one rather older one) have helped man the car park on Llanigon Road, directly opposite the festival site.
In their support of Macmillan over £133,000 has been raised with the majority helping the Renton Unit at Hereford hospital and a target of £27,000 has been set by Bulls News to push the overall total to £160,000 over eight years.
Festival highlights this year include Noah and the Whale, Alun Davies, Eric Schmidt and Melvyn Bragg to name but a few.
Parking in the 'Macmillan' Car Park costs £5 for the day and £3 after six o'clock. You can follow updates on the car park, including weather updates, wet weather parking and a host of other notifications on the Car Park at Hay Festival Twitter account. To follow, click here.
