Results Round-Up

Wrexham spurned the chance to return to the top of the table after drawing 0-0 with also-rans Luton. They lost top spot after Mansfield won 2-0 at Forest Green in last night's TV game, while Newport's home game with Macclesfield fell to the weather and the poor quality Rodney Parade pitch. Kidderminster came from a goal behind to thump Tamworth 4-1 to hold third, but fifth place Grimsby lost 1-0 at home to Cambridge to see the Bulls' gap to them cut to 11 points.

At the bottom, Telford's cause is looking ever-hopeless after a 5-2 loss at Woking made it 25 games without a win. Ebbsfleet beat Southport 4-1, in a game that only went ahead after a 2.50pm inspection, to close their gap to safety to five points. Barrow's loss dropped them to 22nd with Nuneaton moving above them after beating Lincoln 1-0, leaving the Imps just one point and one place clear of the bottom four. Gateshead lost 3-2 at Alfreton after leading 2-0 to stay 19th, while Stockport's woes continue after a 3-1 home loss to Braintree mean they are just three points clear. Hyde move above the Hatters after beating Dartford 3-0.

At the foot of League Two it's about as tight as it gets with five sides now on 40 points at the foot of the table, and one more on 41. Wimbledon played themselves closer to safety with another win, 1-0 at Aldershot, to move up to 45 points and drop the Shots into the bottom two. Accrington are bottom despite beating Barnet (22nd) 3-2, while Plymouth beat Fleetwood and Torquay drew at Southend to also make 40 points. York are the side on 41 after losing 2-0 at home to Port Vale.
