Bulls Complete Barrow Double

A late Brian Smikle goal gave the Bulls a double over Barrow in today's Conference match at Edgar Street.

The Bluebirds took the lead when, under pressure, James Bittner miscued a clearance to leave Adam Boyes with a simple tap-in. However the best save of the match went to defender Sean McConville, whose goal-line efforts saw a red card from fussy referee Rees and a converted penalty for Josh O'Keefe. Smikle popped up late on to earn the points for a scarcely deseved victory.
