This afternoon's Conference match between Luton Town and Hereford United was 'a game of two halves' according to Bulls' director Dave Preedy.
"If we had scored two we would killed them because the crowd were getting on their backs," Preedy told BN.
"I thought Luton were a very poor side especially first half.
"Second half we didn't have that cutting edge up front.
"I thought Sharp worked very very hard and I thought Kingsley had a great game, Musa did well.
"We played okay and you come to Luton and you would take a draw every time.
"But the way we played first half I thought another goal we'll kill them dead.
"But second half we let them back in and they were always going to score - the way they kept pushing us.
"Not a bad day out."
Hereford remain in 9th position but their chance of a play-off spot now looks highly unlikely.
"If we keep playing like that then I think the fans will enjoy the football we are playing.
"After Tuesday we've shown a lot of character to come back because the lads were feeling a bit gutted with the result despite playing well.
"And we were short today with Ryan out with a virus and Marley with a groin strain. We missed them today.
"It's hard at the moment, we need that bit of extra strength up front."
Preedy then spoke about Luton.
"They're a big squad. Their number 5, McNulty, he's a lump but he did a good job.
"Very similar to Jim Bentley at Morecambe."
Finally the referee Mr Amey.
"I thought he was very brave at times.
"Six thousand people screaming, he showed a lot of character.
"He didn't fall for it. He spotted most things. He did well."
