Six Weeks Out For Bowman

Hereford United's leading scorer Ryan Bowman has confirmed that he will be out for six weeks following an injury picked up against Cheltenham last Tuesday evening.

The young striker has tweeted that he is 'fuming'.

His injury is just one more problem for manager Martin Foyle who will also be without Andy Gallinagh for Saturday's FA Trophy game against Chelmsford City as well as three other long-term absentees, Marlon Jackson, Chris Curruthers and Michael Townsend.

On the plus side, Marley Watkins did come off the bench for his first appearance for two months.

"It's a major problem," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We've got four or five hard games before the January window opens.

"And at the start of January not everybody off-loads straight away.

"It's going to be difficult to get players into the club."
