Preview: Ebbsfleet vs Bulls

The Bulls travel to Kent for the second time in a month to face Ebbsfleet for the final time this season.

The two sides have already had two eventful meeting this term, with the opening match at Edgar Street delayed due to the Fleet's coach breaking down, while last month's FA Trophy game saw a controversial dismissal of Ebbsfleet defender Paul Lorraine. The incident saw manager Liam Daish launch a scathing attack on Bulls loanee Kyle Perry and the Nuneaton man is expected to get a warm reception from the locals.

Ebbsfleet's form has nosedived in recent weeks with former Bulls strike duo Nathan Elder and Moses Ashikodi both missing from the squad. Elder returned to training last Friday but the 11 goal striker is unlikely to be anything more than a sub on Saturday after missing a month of action. Loanee Matt Godden netted three times in four games during their absence but has been recalled by Scunthorpe leaving boss Daish with limited options up front.

Bulls boss Martin Foyle is expected to revert to a more regular starting line-up after shuffling his thin pack in the FA Trophy last weekend. He may continue to hold back Joe Heath and Marley Watkins with the pair on the verge of suspension, while Josh O'Keefe's withdrawal last week will add to the complications. Up front, Phil Marsh and Kyle Perry both started the last trip to Stonebridge Road but, with few other options available, continuing with the favoured 4-5-1 formation is likely.

Ebbsfleet United vs Hereford United, Stonebridge Road, Saturday 22nd December, 3.00pm.
