Gateshead have had midfielder Lee Bullock recalled by York, just a day after Minstermen boss Gary Mills said he would not do so. The combative midfielder, who played in seven Conference games for the Heed, was due to stay until January. Cambridge midfielder Luke Berry will be out for up to 10 weeks after surgery on a knee problem. The 20 year old has already missed a month with the injury.
Conf North side Hinckley have been docked three points for failing to pay football creditors. A Conference statement says the club were given seven days to settle payments to five unnamed players but failed to pay or dispute the amounts. They are now bottom of the table on zero points having lost 17 of their 18 games this season and with a goal difference of -50. However they may become Coventry's landlords, with the League One side having confirmed they have looked at their ground as a possible base.
Sacked Barry Town manager Gavin Chesterfield has continued to take the team for training after being backed by fans. Club chairman Ian Lovering says he will liquidate the club, which has not paid its players all season, at Christmas if he has not received a bid of £170,000 for the club, with fans trying to raise funds to save it. Newport have had a blow with Wimbledon recalling loan striker Christian Jolley. The 24 year old scored five times in four Conference matches.
