Pennyfather Looks To Put On A Show

Chelmsford manager Glenn Pennyfather has told their official site that he wants his side to 'put on a bit of a show' at Edgar Street tomorrow.

He said: "They're a full time, professional side and we'll be looking forward to pitting our wits against them. It's not going to be easy, we know that. But we'll go there full of heart and hopefully we can put on a performance again.

"The FA Trophy is a competition we'd like to do well in. We're into the last 32, we'll have a look at how our walking wounded are and hopefully we can go to Hereford, on a very big pitch, and put on a bit of a show."

Pennyfather, who was previously Jeff King's assistant at Canvey Island during the Bulls' first Conference spell, has a number of injury worries for the game. Central midfielders David Bridges and David Rainford, both Conference title winners with Stevenage and Dagenham respectively, missed the match against Hampton and Richmond, while striker Jamie Slabber was injured during the warm-up.
