Former Bulls utility man Richard Rose has signed for Dartford for the coming season. The 29 year old will go part-time after agreeing a settlement on the second year of his Dagenham contract. Telford have signed striker James Spray on a one year deal. The 20 year old was released by Wolves earlier in the summer after just one sub appearance and a three game loan spell at Accrington.
Port Vale's Administrator has told fans at a meeting last night that he had run out of money to run the club and that the Football League were beginning to get nervous about whether they were capable of completing the season. Bob Young told fans they needed 5,000 gates to cover the bills, 200 more than the average last season, and that he had been promised money from bidder Keith Ryder today (Tuesday) to complete his sale. Ryder broke his silence to say 'extreme personal circumstances' had prevented the completion of his deal. If the deal is not completed, players will be signed on week-to-week contracts in order to start the season.
Barrow are to sign teenage Burnley pair Joe Jackson and Tom Anderson on long term loans. Striker Jackson spent four months with the Bluebirds last term, netting three times in six games, while defender Anderson signed his first pro deal in the summer. The Bluebirds now have 15 players signed up. Wimbledon have announced plans to return to the Merton borough by setting up home at Wimbledon Greyhound stadium in Plough Lane. Their long term plan is to rebuild the site into a 12,000 capacity expandable multi-use stadium.

Newport boss Justin Edinburgh wants to sign former Bristol Rovers winger Ben Swallow, but he is struggling to fit the 22 year old into the remnants of his budget.
Grimsby have said no to trialist winger Luke Daley. The 22 year old former Plymouth winger played 18 times for the Pilgrims last term. Woking have signed midfielder Dean Sinclair on a short term deal. The 27 year old made his name at Barnet before a lucrative move to Charlton turned into a nightmare. More recently, he has been plying his trade at the likes of Arlesley and Lowestoft.
