Stat Attack

The Football League site has an excellent stats section that covers the Bulls' League, Carling Cup, and JPT games.

On Fouls - Yoann Arquin, Harry Pell, and Will Evans were the 'dirtiest' players, committing 48 fouls each during the season. Pell, Rob Purdie, and Joe Colbeck were each booked seven times.

Of the outfield players Joe Heath can feel picked on, collecting five yellow cards from just 13 fouls, though keeper David Cornell has a record of two yellow cards from just one foul. On red cards Michael Townsend collected half of all Bulls dismissals, being sent off twice.

On Shooting - Tom Barkhuizen (25) got more shots on target than any other Bull, ahead of Arquin (24) and Evans (22). Of those racking up 15 or more shots, Pell needs to readjust his aim after getting just 35% of his shots on target.

Sam Winnall was the most accurate, getting 12 of 15 shots between the sticks. Stefan Stam was the only player to record a shot that didn't get one on target.

On Goals - The Bulls had just 12 goalscorers during the season, with Barkhuizen top of the pile with 12. Arquin was second with 9, Delroy Facey had 6, and Evans 5.

On Assists - Facey assisted in five goals, one more than Colbeck. Special mention needs to go to Benoit Dalibard, getting three assists from just ten appearances.

On Games Played - No one started more than 36 of the 46 League matches, with Townsend and Nicky Featherstone hitting that mark. Purdie, Facey, and Barkhuizen also recorded more than 30 starts.

Facey racked up more total games than anyone else, playing in 40 of the 46 League matches. Arquin came off the bench 21 times, ahead of Clucas (14) and Elder (13). Tom John had the shortest amount of game time this season, coming on in the 89th minute for his only appearance at Villa Park.
