The Olympics are set to cause a pre-season headache with Police struggling to cover football matches across the country during the event.
High profile and local derby pre-season friendlies are at risk during the Olympics, which start on July 27th, due to large numbers of officers from across the country being drafted to London to cover the event.
It is understood that a proposal from Cardiff to play the Bulls in a pre-season friendly has already been scuppered and the planned trip to Worcester, which was set up as part of Tyler Weir's loan deal there, is also at risk to Police constraints.
The Olympics could also cause headaches on the Conference's opening day. The Conference have opted to delay the starts of both Conf North and South, while the Football League will also kick off a week later, but the top non-league tier will kick off on the same day as the Olympic Men's Football final, which is due to kick off at 3pm.
