Burton Albion have appointed caretaker boss Gary Rowett as their new permanent manager.
The rookie manager won just three of his 11 games in charge at the Pirelli Stadium, conceding 25 goals during his tenure. The move is expected to mean that the club's remaining out of contract players, including Tony James, will find out their fates over the coming days.
Rowett is reported to have agreed to work without a contract.
