Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman is expected to keep the same mid-field this evening for the game against Bristol Rovers as he selected for the Burton game last Monday.
His problem is whether to include Rob Purdie in the starting eleven. Purdie was not available for the Burton game due to suspension so newly signed Will Evans took his place and gave a competent performance, plus a goal, along side Simon Clist.
It will be hard on Purdie if he is left out. However unless there is an injury problem somewhere in mid-field or defence, it does appear likely. At Burton Ryan Green reverted to his more usual position of right-back where Purdie had slotted in whilst Stefan Stam was injured.
Meanwhile with youngster Richard Peniket still recovering from his ankle injury, Pitman is expected to keep both Delroy Facey and Yoann Arquin in attack with Nathan Elder likely to come on at some stage after half-time.
Finally Shaun North, who is in temporary charge of Bristol Rovers, knows how important this game is for his side who haven't picked up many points recently and are sliding towards the relegation zone.
"This is a massive game for the football club and we have to go there and do a professional job," said North.
"It's important that we start picking results up, and this is our next chance to do it.
"Hereford had a good 2-0 win at Burton Albion in their last game, so they will be full of confidence."
