The Bristol press have shifted their focus to Paul Ince for Bristol Rovers' next manager.
The former MK Dons and Macclesfield boss comes into the frame with the Bristol Evening Post reporting that, after Sean O'Driscoll turned down the job, Richard Money had also got cold feet about the Pirates. The paper reports that early contact with the former Walsall boss has gone cold with the odds tumbling on Ince to be the next chief.
On the pitch, defender Gary Sawyer says the uncertainty over who will be in charge next won't affect the players. The stand-in captain says the team are focused on beating the Bulls, telling the paper:
"It doesn't matter whether they are against the top or bottom clubs, they are all massive games for us at the moment. The fixtures haven't been brilliant to us recently and even when we played Barnet, they'd had an extra day's rest. But there's no point crying about it.
"To be honest, I'd rather beat Hereford tonight than to have won the FA Cup game against Villa."
