Pitman reaction

Jamie Pitman spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester's Keith Hall after the Bull's 1-0 victory at Dagenham.

"The boys have really performed", commented Pitman. "We’ve had a nice long weekend together and they’ve been fantastic for me. Did some different yesterday and they certainly responded to that, they looked like a new group of players."

"You can go through all the team today, they've been fantastic for me, even the ones who had been out on the limb like Kenny Lunt"

When asked by Hall about the five man midfield, Pitman responded, "We have given them a little more freedom to express themselves at the right, that’s the key, at the right time. Can’t do silly things in the wrong areas. They understand that now.

Pitman spoke about his decision to keep Adam Bartlett in between the sticks, despite some high-profile errors in recent games. "Delighted for Barts, we know he’s a good keeper and he paid me back today for the faith I put in him."

Simon Clist limped off just before half-time and is likely to be out for a few weeks with a groin strain, stated Pitman.
