North prepares for Hereford Match

It's still uncertain who will be in charge of Bristol Rovers on Tuesday evening. It had been thought that an appointment was to be announced last Friday. However, for whatever reason, this didn't happen. Former Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll remains the favourite.

"I have been told nothing more at the moment (about a new manager)," said Shaun North who is in charge until an appointment is made.

"I will start preparing for Tuesday's game against Hereford unless I am told otherwise.

"I imagine the board will let me know what is happening as soon as possible because any newcomer who takes over will need time to prepare the side in his own way."

Former Northampton manager Gary Johnson had been on the list for the Rovers position but now appears to be more likely to return to Yeovil possibly in a director of football position with Terry Skiverton remaining as manager. Yeovil are currently 21st in League One. They have called a press conference for Monday afternoon.
