Former Bulls midfielder Brian McGorry has been named as Morecambe's first Performance Director to work with new boss Jim Bentley.
Since retiring from playing, 41 year old McGorry has become a personal trainer and will be responsible for player nutrition and psychology. Bentley told the Shrimps official site:
"Brian is one of the most intelligent men I have ever met in football and has a wide range of skills that will help us behind the scenes. He has skills in areas such as training methods, nutrition, psychology and communication and will be someone the players will really respect."
McGorry, who played with Bentley at Telford, was part of the Bulls side relegated from the Football League after being a late addition that season. He played one full season before moving on to Torquay.
