News Round Up

Rotherham boss Andy Scott has told keeper Andy Warrington he will not be offered a new contract when his existing deal expires. The 34 year old still has a year left on his deal, but is now expected to be second choice for the Millers. Newport have appointed Barnet keeper Lee Harrison as their new assistant manager.

Bradford co-chairman Mark Lawn says the club has taken legal advice over their financial problems, but has denied speaking to an Administrator. Lawn says that the club needs to agree a ground deal by mid-June so the Football League can be told. Their likely destination would be Odsal Stadium, but it is claimed that they would not be allowed to use the terraces at the ground due to FL rules meaning they would be restricted to just 5,600 seats with 6,000 season tickets already sold.

Oxford have signed defender Ryan James on a six month deal. The 21 year old has been playing with the second chance Nike Academy after playing for Grays in the Conference. The first casualty of Lincoln's relegation is the scuttling of their reserve side. The Imps have released or transfer listed all but three of their current squad and intend to run with a small squad next term.

Ex-Bull Danny Davidson is one of five to be released from Boston. The striker has spent the last two seasons with the Pilgrims after leaving Nicky Law's Alfreton.
