Former Hereford United winger Michael McIndoe has been released by Coventry.
Reportedly one of the Sky Blues top earners, 31 year old McIndoe is to be replaced by younger players who have come through the club's academy.
"We wish him all the best," said caretaker manager Andy Thorn.
"He has been terrific since he has come back into the squad. His attitude has been good, he’s trained well but he’s not been offered a new contract.
"It has just not worked out for him at Coventry, and sometimes that happens."
McIndoe played alongside Jamie Pitman for Yeovil in the recent Adam Stansfield testimonial match.
