It's been revealed that Premiership referee Mark Halsey is to front the Adam Stansfield Foundation. The announcement by the Trustees has been warmly welcomed.
The purpose of the Foundation is to both support youth football in the South West and to increase awareness about cancer.
"I am pleased to be able to offer what support I can to the Trustees," said Halsey who recently had treatment for throat cancer.
"Although I am based many miles away I want to take an active role where possible, if through supporting this cause I can help with youth football and raise awareness about cancer then this will be time well spent."
