D Day For Davey

Hereford United manager Simon Davey celebrated his 40th birthday yesterday but by 4.50pm this afternoon he might be looking for another job.

All will depend on the performance of the Bulls at Barnet.

Luckily for Davey, Barnet have also had a poor start to the season and there is little to choose between the two clubs.

So there is everything to play for at Underhill this afternoon.

No doubt a win will be enough for Davey to continue in his role for the time being. A draw will also probably be enough provided there are signs of improvement.

However should the Bulls lose this game, there are likely to be calls by supporters for Davey to quit.

Whether he will offer his resignation remains to be seen.
