Chris Wilder, the Oxford manager, has given his reaction to their deserved win at Edgar Street this afternoon.
"I thought we looked a proper side as we knew that Hereford would start really quick," he said.
"We gave them a couple of opportunities in the first 15 to 20 minutes which I wasn't too pleased about.
"But once we started to get ourselves into the game, winning second balls and starting to pass, I was delighted and we deservedly went in front before half-time.
"In the second half again we had to make sure that we were nice and strong for the first 15 or 20 minutes and we saw that period out. Then we battled on and in the end our play at times was really good when we kept the ball really well.
"I'm delighted with the two lads who scored but there were some really good performances. We were strong at the back and up front we caused them problems."
