News Round Up

Sheff Weds have avoided Administration after persuading the Co-op Bank to shell out another £780,000 to satisfy the taxman's current demands. The bank is owed over £20million of the Owls current £30million debt, and the club expects revenues to fall by at least 20% this season after relegation. Ex-Bull Gavin McCallum says he doesn't know when he will be fit to play after missing the last four matches for Lincoln with a hip problem.

Northampton have signed striker Leon McKenzie until the end of the season. The former Norwich man was released by Charlton in the summer after not making a single start last season. The Cobblers have opted not to extend the loan of Spurs keeper Oscar Jansson with first choice Chris Dunn now fit. Bradford are reported to be trialling former Huddersfield striker Malvin Kamara, with boss Peter Taylor saying they will sign a new forward before the weekend as cover.
