The Bulls travel to Yeovil for this rearranged League One match safe in the knowledge that they can't be relegated by their giantkilling rivals.
While the pair share a history of FA Cup giantkilling and have met eighteen previous times while Graham Turner has been at the Edgar Street helm, this is the first time the pair have been in the same Football League tier. Turner's record reads only three wins in eighteen attempts against the green slime, with the most memorable being a 3-2 win in Somerset in May 2001 that helped to deny Yeovil promotion.
The bookies expected Yeovil to struggle pre-season and they've not disappointed. The summer loss of two recognised scorers at this level has left them scoring less than the Bulls. Top scorer Gavin Tomlin has seven goals in 39 League matches, although Spurs striker Jonathan Obika has three in seven matches since arriving in mid-March. They've failed to score seven times in 12 matches, the Bulls have blanked out six times but the bookies expect anything but a score draw. When this game was first scheduled the hosts were 6/5 favourites, now they're 4/7.
Any self-respecting Bulls fan will happily settle for a spanner being thrown into the survival plans drawn up by Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton. They are now 10/1 for the drop, but are just three points clear of danger with the bookies thinking Tuesday's match is a done deal with the three points heading only one way. With morale in the Bulls' camp at an all time low it's not difficult to understand their thinking, but the lack of goals all round may be enough to give the Bulls an edge.
Yeovil Town vs Hereford United, Huish Park, Tuesday 21st April, 7.45pm.
