News Round Up

Weymouth have relaunched their share sale in a bid to clear debts. Around 900,000 shares in the club are available at 50p each, with £40,000 sold in the first attempt. The club says it wants to avoid a CVA by agreeing a debt deal with creditors and have already secured payment terms with former owner Malcolm Curtis (£220,000) and the taxman (£95,000). The offer on the table over the other £135,000 of debt is repayment over four and a half years, with the club budgeting to hand over 25% of projected income to pay off debts and spent only 50% on wages.

Redditch have lost their major sponsor to deepen their money worries. Koolsport agreed a two year £40,000 deal last summer, but the Thailand based sportswear firm never paid a penny to the Conf North side. Ex-Bull Tom Smith scored in Truro's 3-1 win over AFC Hayes and will confirm their promotion with another win in today's match at Taunton.
