It's all of twenty nine years since Hereford United last played Huddersfield Town so this afternoon's match will be a 'first' meeting of the two sides for the vast majority of supporters of both teams.
Huddersfield's Galpharm Stadium is another 'new' stadium for Hereford United to visit in their first year back in League One.
And to add to the excitement the Bulls should be playing in front of around ten thousand fans even if only a couple of hundred are in the away end.
As ever Hereford United manager Graham Turner is looking for three points which given the recent improved performances of the Bulls may not be out of the question. Huddersfield's home form isn't that good. Although they defeated Walsall 2-1 two weeks ago, previous to that they lost to Leyton Orient 1-0. Before that they narrowly defeated Crewe 3-2 after drawing 0-0 with Yeovil.
The Bulls may be unchanged from last week as several players with injury niggles are reported to be likely to play but Clint Easton will be spared any more boos as he is ruled out.
There will be coverage of the game on BBC Radio Leeds 92.4 FM and BBC Hereford and Worcester on 94.7FM in Herefordshire as well as the usual text coverage from various outlets.
