It seems that the magic roundabout has failed to conjure the new manager that was expected to be announced at The County Ground today. It was widely thought that the Club were to make former Walsall boss and current Newcastle Academy Director Richard "Dickie Dosh" Money their new Gaffer. However, Swindon have said that they have been unable to agree the compensation deal with a Premiership Club to secure the man of their choice.
Swindon chief, Andrew Fitton, is reported in the Western Daily Press to have said, "Given the circumstances I feel that we need a few days to review the process and to re-consider some of the available candidates. The truth is that there are new names still throwing their hat in the ring as managers become available."
Former Swindon player/coach, Paul Ince, has recently joined the ranks of the unemployed although it is not known if this has influenced the change of circumstances.
