Turner could face difficult decision over Broadhurst

Considering it was the first time they had played together Dean Beckwith and new loan signing Josh Gowling looked comfortable at Colchester last Saturday. However with Karl Broadhurst likely to be available after suspension, Graham Turner faces a difficult decision whether to recall his captain to the starting eleven.

Beckwith missed out on several games whilst Bruno N'Gotty was with Hereford United. Broadhurst always appeared to be Turner's first choice.

Meanwhile this morning the Official Site reported that Broadhurst has a slight hip injury. Whether the injury will mean he will miss Saturday's game against Hartlepool, and therefore save Turner having to decide who to play, isn't clear at present.

Finally Robbie Threlfall has returned to Edgar Street from Liverpool following a long lay-off with a foot injury. His loan spell ends early in January.
