Huddersfield have confirmed Norwich assistant Lee Clark as their new manager on a three and a half year deal. The 37 year old played over 500 games for Newcastle, Sunderland, and Fulham but has only limited coaching experience since quitting playing in the summer of 2007. Swindon have been given permission to speak to four managerial candidates who are all currently employed by other clubs.
Bournemouth are to defend themselves against a winding up order brought by a promotions company. The company was brought in to increase corporate sales on a commission basis, but the club claim it was billed for sales the club itself had generated.
